"Amazing care throughout"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency Crosshouse Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son and I visited the emergency department of Crosshouse hospital due to my son experiencing shortness of breath and viral wheezing. The care we were shown throughout our stay was impeccable. There was not a single person we interacted with that wasn't absolutely amazing.

Throughout the paediatric urgent care to the paediatric ward in the hospital every member of staff was accommodating, caring and just providing really high quality care. I tried so hard to look at name tags and remember names, however, I failed my task but it seems irrelevant and everyone working on those wards were incredible.

These staff members took the time to explain what processes were happening, to make my four year old feel comfortable and at easy and to provide all around care. Really, I hope this gets back to the relevant people because they need to get the recognition they deserve wholeheartedly.

Dear LucyN

Firstly I hope your little boy has made a good recovery. Thank you so much for writing to us during what must have been an anxious period for you. I am delighted to hear that you felt supported and well cared for by the team.

I will ensure your message is passed on to them and thank you again

Best wishes

Attica
