"Good quality care from total professionals"

I have unfortunately had to use Gynaecology services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde several times throughout the past 3 years. All of my experiences have been positive at Stobhill Hospital and I have found the Gynaecology Service to be efficient, professional and very supportive. 

I realise not every patient will have a positive experience but I also feel strongly that good care and professionalism should be recognised, especially when the media often focuses on the more negative aspects of medical and nursing care. 

My last review I was seen by Dr Bain. I knew from the offset that I was being reviewed by a very experienced gynaecologist. But I was equally impressed with Dr Bain's manner and approach. I attended this review with lots of questions and I immediately felt listened to and I was given the time and space to tell my story. I was also very lucky to met a very experienced nurse that day. Karen is the type of nurse we all deserve to have look after us! Karen's nursing care was superb, she understood my anxiety. She has such a friendly, compassionate and empathetic manner. Karen please know how much I appreciated your kindness that day.

I nursed for nearly forty years in Greater Glasgow and Clyde HB. I know I am totally biased in favour of every person who works there but when I experience good quality care from total professionals I need to share that.
