"Helpful, approachable and warm"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Ward 3B

(as a service user),

I was admitted unexpectedly from ED with pneumonia and wanted to express my thanks to ask the staff on Ward 3b for their care through my stay.

The ward was full to the brim for the duration of my stay with corridor beds in use along with the ward rooms. Nicky worked tirelessly for all her patients, and showed great understanding of those in her care, while Roz, Sarah, Nuala, Terry and everyone else whose name I don't remember were so helpful, approachable and warm during my 3 and a bit days there.

Thank you too to the doctors who took time to explain their thinking in a clear way.  No-one wants to be in hospital really, especially when you see others around you much more ill so being cared for with empathy and kindness, makes all the difference.

Thank you so much for taking time to share your positive experience in ward 3b.

I hope you are recovering well.

The staff on the ward work extremely hard and when positive feedback is received it is greatly appreciated.
