"Every member of staff was a gem"

About: Older People Community Services / Cregagh Nursing Home Royal Victoria Hospital / Critical Assessment Unit

(as a relative),

My wife had pneumonia and was admitted to the Royal Victoria, Belfast, in the Acute Assessment Unit. She was there for 10 days and very ill. They all did a marvellous job getting her well again.

She then moved to Cregagh Nursing Home for 10 days. They were all excellent and looked after my wife really well. After that my wife has had a care package from social services and nursing at home. I would like to thank the careers who were excellent. Every member of staff was a gem. They were brilliant. I want to say a very big thank you to all of them.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am delighted to hear that your experience of care in Royal Victoria Hospital was so good and that your wife seems to be recovering well. I am also really pleased that your wife was well cared for while in Cregagh nursing home and that she was able to return home with care and nursing support. I hope that you wife continues to improve and that any ongoing care meets her needs in a supportive and compassionate manner.

It is so thoughtful that you took the time to share your compliments on our service and I will ensure that Cregagh are advised of your kind words.
