My daughter has been a respiratory outpatient for a number of years now. We have absolutely no complaints regarding her treatments and anytime we have attended the hospital all staff have been excellent. We think very highly of her consultant.
The issue we have is around wait times - not so much the length of time (although that is frustrating), we fully appreciate the current situation the NHS faces daily, but more around the lack of communication in terms of giving families a rough idea of just how long you could be waiting for whatever procedure/investigation that is needed.
Our daughter is waiting to have an in hospital sleep study completed & I would really like to speak to someone regarding how long the current wait time is for this. What she is currently going through is impacting her day to day life in a huge way.
I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a contact number or an email address to see if my questions could be answered.
The only email address that I could find was a complaints email address which isn’t really what I need.
