What I liked

I recently underwent ACL reconstruction surgery at macclesfield hospital and could not fault the surgery i recieved or the aftercare that followed. Eveybody from the consultant surgeon and his staff to the ward nursing staff could not have been more proffesional in there manner or attitude towards me.

I have nothing but praise for everybody concerned with the care i recieved during my stay in the hospital.

What could be improved

Visitor car parking is in very short supply and difficult to find.

Thank you for feeding back your kind comments about our staff. The Trust and our staff see customer care as a priority and aim to make all aspects of the patient’s experience as good as possible.

The Trust is aware that car parking on the Macclesfield District General Hospital site is an issue. We are continually looking at ways to reduce congestion on site and a new Trust Travel Plan has recently been launched following consultation with the public and staff. Some members of staff have been allocated parking away from the hospital site, and a large number of staff have been relocated to offices off-site.
