(as the patient),

I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Ward 205 and theatre team, Royal Infirmary Edinburgh. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make me (and every other patient) feel so welcome.

You made me feel comfortable and nothing was too much or problematic, creating a positive and happy environment. All staff were all extremely professional, took pride in their work, personable, kind, considerate, attentive and took the time to care and understand all their patients’ individual needs with a smile consistently on their faces (even if they maybe had a tough day).

Their team moral and work ethos, time keeping and teamwork was so noticeably seamless that I felt completely humbled and privileged to be able to witness such great work in the adversity of the NHS not always getting the credit its staff deserve.

Thank you so much to each and every member of Ward 205.
