"Advanced Nurse Practitioner"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I attended A&E after suffering a bad burn to my hand at home, I was in a lot of pain and the Advanced Nurse Practitioner that took care of me - I think her name was Kirsty - was great, she was very attentive and it just felt as though she really went above and beyond. She explained everything really clearly and thoroughly, and had a gentle and empathetic approach.

I’ve not been to A&E very often perhaps only several times, but this was by far the least stressful and I think it’s because I felt really listened to by Kirsty.

I didn’t feel rushed out of the door I felt like it was thorough and I felt reassured because of this.

Dear 87162

Thank you for taking the time to post this feed back regarding Kirsty who is one of the ANP's. I will ensure she receives this.

I was pleased to read that you felt your care was good and not rushed

I hope your hand is healing well

Regards

Mary Cumming
