I was in the ward and managed to discharge myself, which was a big mistake as I wasn't in a good place. Things got worse after I got home. I contacted NHS24 who then put me in touch with The Mental Health Assessment Service (MHAS).
Despite me being suicidal and having active plans, the MHAS team didn't seem interested. I felt like they held a grudge because I discharged myself when my mind was in a really bad place.
I went to bed that night and could barely sleep, so I called NHS24 again and got a call from an aggressive, arrogant staff member at MHAS. They were horrible, told me there's nothing they can do for me.
"Told me there's nothing they can do for me."
