I had been taking antibiotics for urine infection but also had pain in my chest so was unclear what was wrong.
Called my doctors and asked could it be my medication that was making me feel worse. Told that not medication as I had tablets before. Told to go to A&E and get checks done on my heart.
Went to Monklands hospital and from receptionist to Doctor Paterson and his team I was instantly dealt with and thankfully heart wasn’t the problem.
Checked urine sample and showed I still had infection so doctor prescribed different antibiotics 200mg. Still very tired as it was scary not knowing what was happening I felt so ill but I was lucky to have been treated and looked after by a caring, clever, efficient doctor who kept me informed throughout and also his team of staff in February 2024.
