We recently spent some time on Belvoir ward with my son and wanted to express our huge appreciation for the staff making the experience as positive as possible for our family. The ward was clearly well run, clean and peaceful, and every staff member we came across was professional, kind and helpful.
Special thanks to SN Anna for her kindness, and to Auxiliary Nurse Tony for going the extra mile to get some little bits to entertain my son.
We also had very positive experiences with the medical staff, particularly Dr Moriarty, who ensured we were kept informed and explained everything to us, making us feel very reassured.
I was also very grateful to bed manager Amanda and Angela, consultant's secretary, both of whom were very empathetic and patient with a very anxious mummy!
Working in the health service is not easy at the moment and hopefully all of the staff we encountered get the chance to know that they make such a difference to families like ours.
