"Putting patients at the heart of what they do"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans) Woodend Hospital / Radiology

(as a service user),

As a result of ongoing gynaecological issues I attended an appointment for a transabdominal scan. My first scan had been at ARI in aberdeen and I thought the staff were exemplary. I can say nothing less about the team at Woodend. From reception onwards, I felt I was treated as an individual and not just a 'case' on what I'm sure must sometimes feel to staff like a never ending conveyor belt of need. I can't speak highly enough about the professionalism of every team member and I feel privileged to have been looked after by a team that put patients at the heart of what they do, despite challenges of the demand for services.

Dear Sculptorxn83,

Thank you for taking the time to post such a positive comment on Care Opinion about your experience of both scanning departments in both ARI and Woodend. I am very fortunate to work alongside such caring professionals

It means such a lot to staff to read comments such as these and is a real morale boost. I will forward your kind comments on to the staff concerned.

Sincere thanks again

Yvonne Wright
