(as a service user),

At this Dr surgery you can only call on a Tuesday to make a routine Dr appointment and this is made for 4 weeks in advance. I received a letter from the hospital on a Wednesday about a referral made by the surgery saying it's not appropriate and want to call the dr surgery to see someone about what is happening to me, but have to wait nearly a week.

I then call on the Tuesday and it takes 10 minutes of 72 calls to get in a queue to be told the diary hasn't been extended and you have to call back next Tuesday. I work, I can't sit on a phone for 10 minutes calling 72 times to try and make an appointment. I was off work so could do it today.

I feel it's becoming a joke that you have to jump through hoops to see a Dr.

I am so sorry to hear of the issues you have raised with regards to accessing your GP Practice by telephone and that you have had such a negative experience.
