"A welcoming and caring atmosphere"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Clinical Haematology (Ward 4c)

(as a relative),

My Mum has been in hospital for almost 2 months. She started in ward 9B, then was moved to haematology, ward 4C. The nurses, doctors, auxiliaries, cleaners and all of the support staff on the ward have been extremely helpful and friendly.  My Mum has felt cared for, heard and well looked after, despite the very challenging circumstances.  The ward staff have managed to create a welcoming and caring atmosphere, they are exceptionally attentive and are a credit to the NHS.

Hi AdeleH,

That you for sharing your story about your mother's care at our Haematology ward. I can only image the challenge faced by both her and yourself over a two month stay but thank you for taking the time to share such positive experiences of care and attentiveness with our staff.

I will make sure your story is shared with service leads and staff in the Haematology team.

Kind regards

Paul
