"Staff were kind and friendly"

About: Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre / Minor Injuries

(as a service user),

I was playing volleyball and the ball struck my finger causing it to be bent backwards. I was in a lot of pain and attended Whitehills minor injuries department. I was seen very quickly and the staff were kind and friendly. I received an x-ray of my finger and thankfully it was not broken. The nurse gave good treatment advice.

Dear Bear76,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your story on care opinion. All feedback is much appreciated and helps us to review and improve our service.

I am so sorry to hear of your recent trip to minor injuries, I hope your finger is on the mend and you can get back to playing volleyball. It is very reassuring to hear you were seen efficiently and the staff were kind, friendly and educated you about the injury and management of it.

I will be sure to pass on your lovely comments to the nursing staff in Forfar Minor Injuries Unit.

Thank you again for sharing your story.

Take care,

Katy Cook ( Arbroath Minor Injuries Unit, NHS Tayside)
