"Thank you to Brecon Staff"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

I have been on Brecon ward for a while now and I as a patient have been responsible for causing disruption for both staff and patients due to my actions. I am now in a little bit of a better place but not fully back to how I usually am. I would like to say thank you to all the staff who continue to support me, I have taken all my issues out on them and was burning them out with constant targeting of certain staff even though they are trying to help me. There are staff on here who go above and beyond for me and other patients on here. They do not come to work to be abused. So I would like to apologise to all the staff on Brecon ward, especially my named nurse and the ward manager who have continued to give me the best possible care you can receive.

People are always picking out staff when they are upset including myself but if we put ourselves in their shoes I bet we wouldn't keep coming back. So lets all just remember we should treat the staff with the respect and dignity they give to us. It is not the Brecon teams fault that they don't have staff to do what they would like to do with us. We need to try and work together as they are just as upset as patients that they can't do their jobs that they wanted to do when they became a nurse. So thank you from a very  appreciative patient on Brecon
