"Very pleased with the initial chat"

About: Halton Integrated Recovery Service

(as a service user),

After a visit to my GP to "sort myself out", it came back I have problems with my liver. I expected this but seeing it in black & white prompted me to get help.

I firstly called The Samaritans who put me in touch with the Drink Aware website which is how I found this local service, and referred myself there and then.

Very pleased to get a call back the same week, very pleased with the initial chat I had about my concerns and it felt good to finally confess all.

Impressed with the speed that I was promised a key worker and booked in for a health check, and that this is all done in conjunction with my GP.

Looking forward to seeing the team in person to see how they can help me.
