A couple of weeks ago I was unfortunate enough to have a Hickman line infection and needed admission to Musgrave.
The idea of admission was stressful but Dr Ball and her team were very patient. Adrian the doctor over the weekend was great at making me feel at ease and keeping me informed of what was happening, the nurse Anna Maria on the ward was great too.
Nurses Debbie and Fiona provided a listening ear. The ward doctor Niamh and the pharmacist Una did endless phone calls to get me home on the IV antibiotics which was so appreciated. They understood the importance of me getting home again and it was so appreciated.
I would like to mention how helpful Keelin the secretary has been as well.
"Staff was great at making me feel at ease"
