"I couldn’t have asked for better care"

I had a planned hysterectomy at the Causeway Hospital. My surgeon was Dr Douglas and Dr Johnathan. 

My anaesthetist was Dr Gabor and nurses on my team were Esther, Hannah, Donna and many others whose names escape me. They were all so welcoming, informative and allowed me to feel empowered. I felt part of every decision being made.

I had particularly difficult circumstances because of past personal trauma unrelated to surgery but relaxant to gynae exam etc. they were incredibly accommodating and respectful. 

I felt in control. My surgery and recovery were straight forward and aftercare was excellent. I couldn’t have asked for better care.
