"Fantastic Nurse Practitioner"

We have visited the Nurse Practitioner at our local surgery twice in the past 6 months, both times my young daughter has been unwell.

On both occasions Niamh took the time to find out key information from me, was interested in us as a family and had such a fantastic manner with my daughter - I was blown away by how incredible she was!

Despite how busy I know she undoubtedly was, that didn’t come across as she took time and care in all that she did. Even checking my daughter’s toy monkey’s ears first when my daughter was a little reluctant!

Niamh’s manner meant that not only was my daughter at ease but it also meant we got a really good check up which was reassuring to help inform next steps in her care.

I feel Niamh could run a master class in how healthcare workers should interact with children and I am so grateful for her time, care and expertise!
