About: University Hospital Monklands / Ear, Nose & Throat (Ward 9) University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My husband was assessed at Monklands Hospital A & E Department on an evening in late January 2024, the care he received was fantastic.

He was treated with respect as quickly as demand could facilitate.

He was then admitted to ward 9 and again received amazing care.

Every member of staff (who are clearly under pressure) were professional and extremely caring in a demanding and under pressure environment .

A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in his care

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Monklands, Emergency Department and ENT.

I am sorry to hear that your husband was unwell but I am pleased to hear that he received fantastic, professional care from Emergency Department and ward 9. It is lovely to hear recognition of our staff trying their best despite the current challenges and pressures and that they are maintaining professionalism and a caring attitude.

I would be delighted to share your kind words and feedback with both teams who were involved in your husbands care who I am sure would get a real boost from hearing this.
