"Positive experience at the breast clinic"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Breast Clinic

(as a service user),

I was to have been referred to the breast clinic after I attended as a referral from GP. I had to call the hospital and eventually spoke to the breast clinic secretary who was superb.

I attended that afternoon and had a consultant review, an ultrasound and aspiration and further consultant review before being discharged with advice regarding any further problems. The process was very well organised.

I felt very reassured after the consultation as I had been very frustrated at having to start a process of trying to arrange my own follow up at a certain clinic. The original referral had not been correctly arranged.

Thank you “satisfied customer 1961” for taking time to post a comment about your recent consultation at the breast clinic at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley. It is always greatly appreciated by all the team to receive such nice feedback, I will ensure this is shared with them.

I was glad to read you received help via the breast secretary and then was able to attend clinic later that day. It makes such a difference to have that quick action to enable the consultation to take place and to give you the reassurance you deserved during a very worrying time.
