"Brilliant service"

About: Dalriada Urgent Care

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had been unwell for a couple of weeks but he struggled on to school.  After being sent home from school late on a Friday afternoon with a high temperature and with another temperature spike on the Saturday and Saturday night,  I telephone the Dalriada Urgent Care.

Dr Edwards returned my call and was so interested in my son and his symptoms.  She initially offered him an in-person appointment in Antrim, however when I mentioned how far away we lived she was able to offer him an appointment in Causeway Hosptial GP Out of Hours earlier, which was much nearer and easier to access.

We saw a Dr Kennedy who checked him over and provided a diagnosis.  Sometimes you feel that telephoning the Out of Hours service should only be for serious conditions but both these GPs reminded me that I had done the right thing in seeking medical advice. 

I want to highlight the brilliant service received by both who were understanding, compassionate, interested and took me as a parent seriously.  Many thanks for your time, it is much appreciated.

Thank you for getting in touch to express thanks and gratitude for the care and attention provided by Dr Edwards and Dr Kennedy.

It is often negative feedback that organisations such as us receive. Therefore, I am extremely grateful for your correspondence and hope that should you require to use Dalriada Urgent Care in the future you will receive the same quality standard of care that we aim to provide. I have passed on your message of thanks to the doctors involved with your son's care.
