"Cardiology appointments"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

Cardiology appointment cancelled  and rescheduled in six months' time, after waiting for two years for a follow-up consultation to discuss the results of an echocardiogram in 2022.

I found out via a pacemaker check last year after complaining about fatigue that the echocardiogram showed that I had tricuspid regurgitation.

I feel that I need to discuss this with the Consultant, but seemingly I now have to wait until October.

Is this acceptable?

Thank you so much for sending us your feedback. I am so sorry that you are still waiting for an appointment after already waiting so long and no I don't think this is at all acceptable.

Would you be willing to contact the Patient Voice & Involvement Team via our email address which is ekhuft.patientvoice@nhs.net to discuss this further.

I look forward to hearing from you.
