"Set me at my ease"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Pre-Assessment Clinic

(as the patient),

I did not even know I was getting an operation when I was invited to PRI to complete the pre-assessment documentation.  However, the Charge Nurse who conducted the interview soon set me at my ease and, even though I suspected that the operation was to be serious one (cancer of the colon) they took me through the various stages of the document. We dealt with all the 'why's and wherefores' and the 'what if's' so I felt confident that I know what lies ahead of me.
