"Amazing care from midwife Morgan"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Early Pregnancy Assessment Service

(as the patient),

I found out I was pregnant on the 1st of January this year & experienced heavy bleeding and awful pain. Was seen by early pregnancy at Hairmyres early pregnancy & was referred to Wishaw general early pregnancy where the loveliest nurse Morgan looked after me.

I’m sure she was originally from the labour ward but was sent down as EPAS was short staffed. Her care & attention was second to none and she was the nicest person to me.

It made an awful situation so much better. We need more people like Morgan in the NHS. Being a nurse myself I know how hard the job can be but it costs nothing to be nice.

Thank you so much Morgan for keeping me as comfortable as you possibly could.

Thank you for sharing your experience of Early Pregnancy Assessment Service at both University Hospitals Hairmyres and Wishaw.

I am so pleased to hear about the wonderful care you received from Morgan. I can only imagine how worrying a time it must have been for you and I am so pleased to hear that Morgan supported and reassured you throughout. This sounds like a wonderful example of person centred care, and it really is very heart-warming to hear.

I know that Morgan will really appreciate your kind comments and feedback and I will ensure this is passed on to her.
