"Exceptional care and support"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / GP Out of Hours NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as the patient),

I had to call 111 this morning as a result of an asthma attack. The call handler was very kind and efficient, as was the nurse that I spoke to. She then forwarded my notes to Stirling Out of Hours. A very kind and caring GP called me back and arranged to send a prescription to a local pharmacy. I’m sorry that I didn’t catch the names but I am so very grateful for the exceptional care and support that I received. I know how tough it is for everyone working in the NHS just now and I just wanted to say a huge thank you.

I am sorry to hear of your asthma attack however am pleased to hear that your call was managed efficiently by the call handler and the nurse. I am equally delighted to hear that you found the GP kind and caring and that you found the care and support you received exceptional and that you were able to receive appropriate medication from your local pharmacy.

I hope you have fully recovered and I will pass your feedback onto the team who I know will value and appreciate this
