"Procedure on my tougue"

I have recently used the services of the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast, School of Dentistry. The consultant was Dr CJ and his dental nurse Lorraine. There were two 4th year dental students present also. Dr CJ explained very clearly to me what was going to happen  and then showed the students where he was going to operate on my tongue and encouraged them to feel the problem area. He reassured me throughout the procedure, while ensuring the students were informed. Lorraine supplied me with literature about the procedure and brought me to get my bloods taken, she too spoke in a caring and informative way. My daughter who joined me was included in any discussion. I found it to be a positive experience and felt myself to have been in safe hands. Thank you.
