"Needing help"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Accident and emergency GPs in Blackpool

(as a service user),

I have skin cancer and Bowens disease. Last year had a haematoma on leg, was told any strange lumps or concerns about that leg to come straight back as could be a blood clot. I then got bursitis around a year later on my hip. Doctors surgery told me a health professional would see me. This turned out to be a physiotherapist,  who despite the clear swelling and water on my hip, unable to walk , lie down, sit down (pain like I've never felt). Then pain from the hip going into my back. This staff member told me it was arthritis, despite me showing them pictures from the previous days  and days of the clear water swelling.

The young trainee doctor I'd seen previous told me it was sciatica .Told both of them I didn't agree. I've had it twice now , also i told the physio of my concerns on the same leg as new black veins have appeared covering most of the lower leg / ankle area .At the moment I have both lower legs swollen and around 6 or 7 infected weeping ulcers on each leg.

I am at the end of my tether. I also asked at this last appointment would she please refer me to a circulation specialist,  they refused but later I found out this member of staff wasn't a nurse or doctor and didn t have this power anyway? Misleading.

I will have to contact them again tomorrow as it is so painful and I'm worried about sepsis with the ulcers or that something is very wrong with my circulation .This is causing me untold worry and stress especially as I am awaiting to be sent for for my breast implants removing as they are looking for suspected breast implant lymphoma, this is also 6 weeks over the expected operation date guidelines.

I'm in my 50's ,have a business to run and I'm struggling as I'm just not being listened to. At the same doctors  I also told numerous times of my concerns about my liver. I've had concurrent water infections , back to back couple of years ago , whites of my eyes yellow. The same doctor (young trainee) told me that I should have been referred after 2 water infections, told me I was being referred. After a visit to said surgery and enquiring as have had no contact regarding this I have have found out there is no referral .

Last time I was admitted to hospital was liver , kidney problem they found,  had to flush them and told me they may possibly transfer me to the specialist unit in the next town if it didn't work. It did work but I've no idea if my kidneys / liver are getting more damaged as a result, I'm very unwell, live alone and I'm cut off.

What do people have to do to get help? I'm asking and not getting any. One health professional even tried to tell me they thought I was depressed? What a joke .. and prescribed amitriptyline although I didn't take them as they are so wrong! I also asked them to put on my notes that I didn't ever take them as when anyone logs on to my records they might think oh this girl is neurotic or not right in the head , any excuse so they don't have to address the real health issues , what am I supposed to Do?
