"The excellent standard of professionalism and expert care"

About: Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / First responder paramedic

(as a friend),

Recently because of an incident which happened at Southlake's Leisure Centre in Craigavon, a paramedic attended my friend  and in a very timely manner.

His name was Alan & he quickly assessed the situation and took control of the situation. His manner was professional, friendly and courteous to my friend and to me.

Another crew came along to transfer my friend to hospital, they were Sam and a lady ambulance person [sorry can't remember her name]. Both equally kind and efficient.

They were then called away to another emergency in the building and my friend was transferred to hospital by another excellent efficient and knowledgeable team Sorcha and Jim. My friend and me had great confidence in both of them. They really knew what they were doing.

All of them are such an asset to to the ambulance service in NI. Great role models. I'm in awe of how knowledgeable you are. Thank you so very much, you are amazing.

Good evening nonsense,

I would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to share your experience of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was reassuring to learn about the professional, friendly and courteous approach of all the staff who were involved in this incident. As an organisation we are committed to consistently show compassion, professionalism and respect for the patients we care for. I would like to share your feedback with the paramedics who attended on the day and in order to locate them I would require the following information

- Date and approximate time of the incident

If you are happy to share this information I can be contacted at Neil.gillan@nias.hscni.net

I hope your friend is recovering.

Best wishes

Neil
