"It’s all been very efficient"

I’ve been under the care of Newark hospital for the last year and it’s all been very efficient. Remote consultations, unmanned pickup and drop off of diagnostic equipment and fast responses to queries. 

Recently I’ve started a trial of CPAP and the team who manage it have been amazing. My first appointment was early in the morning, I was seen on time and the technician/nurse was fantastic. Explained the equipment, use and care and practically begged for me to contact them for the smallest query or issue. It felt like they were completely invested in me succeeding with my therapy. 

Remote review a week into the trial and again the offer of support was reiterated as well as a reassurance that you are doing well. A welcome boost for a treatment that for many comes with stigma. 

I ended up emailing a query and was phoned back within a couple of hours. Appointment arranged to pick up a different accessory. Was called in early for the appointment, given different recommendations to try and ultimately on my way 10 minutes later with an extra bit of kit from a smiling friendly tech/nurse. Again the offer of support through various routes was reiterated. 

I can’t thank the staff enough for their approach to me and the time and effort they put into helping me succeed with treatment.
