Though I did not get the resolution needed, this was entirely my GPs fault, and the Cobridge team were wonderful.
I got through quickly and a lovely receptionist organised a callback for me. At lunch time, I then received a call from Sam. Though she couldn't help me directly, she was super friendly and informative - also repeatedly apologising for the slip ups made by other professionals outside of this service.
She was also really respectful of my gender identity and relationship, which is something I'm not used to in discussions around contraception.
Definitely left the call feeling deflated from the outcome, but a lot more comfortable than I could have because of how supportive Sam was.
