"I am beyond alarmed"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Medical Assessment Unit University Hospital Monklands / Pre Admission Assessment

(as the patient),

I am disgusted and beyond alarmed with the full health board right now. I can only sum the treatment or lack of it as abhorrent. I have been ill for three years. The necessary treatment to get better has been held back. After 3 years of backward and forwards I was admitted after being sick with blood, severe stomach pain and unable to breathe. I'd also lost 10 pounds in 6 days. But because their blood tests said I was fine and no organs are failing, I was sent away to come back when critical.

Wait times in A&E are long and proper treatment seems non existent these days. It's disgusting and can't be allowed.

I am so sorry to hear of your illness and that you have been unwell for 3 years awaiting treatment. I am disappointed that despite being unwell, you were sent home without further update regarding this as your tests came back okay.
