"Less stressed and more positive"

About: Community Mental Health / Adult Psychological Therapies

(as the patient),

I was sexually assaulted, touched by a male in a public toilet which was unprovoked and I felt de-humanised after the experience.

I was feeling low and avoided any potential place where I could be alone with someone else and in particular, toilets and changing rooms.

I was able to talk freely with the service and received advice that left me better equipped and feeling less stressed and more positive.
