Orange zone level 4 to get blood taken, before and after speaking to the doctor, who was absolutely brilliant and handled the situation very professionally. However we encountered an extremely rude nurse who I feel dismissed my partner and the doctor with absolutely no professionalism.
I felt bad for the doctor, who probably has to go through this every day in there, where this type of interaction is clearly normal. However it felt wrong to watch and not say something, but now I am.
To say I was disgusted by the way this nurse interacted is an understatement. As I said my partner was getting bloods taken and I was there for emotional support during the appointment with the doctor whilst bloods were being taken.
On the two instances we were taken to get bloods done by the doctor, there was another patient in there getting bloods done, but the way they were spoken to and dismissed was shocking. I hope this nurse gets some training on how to speak to others in the work place.
