"Efficient, professional and very positive"

I attended the day surgery unit at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh recently. I originally attended following a nasty fracture which required surgery. I had a lot of pain whilst in recovery and was very grateful to Rebecca who got on top of this very quickly.I later returned for elective removal of metalwork.

On both occasions I have found all staff to be efficient, professional and very positive in their outlook and in the way they cared for me from start to finish. I would like to highlight Miss Davidson  (surgeon), I’m afraid I cannot remember my anaethetist's name but he was excellent. Anna,recovery nurse who was very attentive and Paula, nurse in the unit. She was very kind and reassuring both pre-op and on discharge. Nothing was too much trouble to her.
