"They chatted away to our baby and kept her smiling"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Cardiology Outpatients

(as a parent/guardian),

My 3 month old baby attended the cardiology outpatient unit for an echo. Mark and Marlene carried out the echo and were just so lovely.

They chatted away to our baby and kept her smiling and calm throughout the procedure. Thank you for being so lovely with her.

Dear nurse1993

Sorry to hear that your little one had to come up to the hospital for a test - I hope she's doing really well now. I know how busy life can be with a new baby so I am very grateful for the time you have taken in giving us feedback about your experience at your daughter's echo scan. I can vouch for the fact that Mark and Marlene help me get through the day with their calm positivity so it's no surprise to hear that it continues in the scanning room! Scanning is a highly specialised activity but scanning babies requires an additional level of skill so I am pleased they were able to make the experience a positive one for you all.

Thanks again for letting us know. I will be sure to pass on your kind words.

With best wishes

Catherine
