"So caring and wonderful"

About: Cancer Services / Radiotherapy

(as the patient),

I have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and went for my 3rd pre-treatment appointment, having not passed my initial 2. This was my 3rd.

I was greeted by the receptionists and then the Radiotherapy team on duty and keep saying this but they are so caring and wonderful. I’m old enough to be their father and that would make me so proud. I passed today and now move on to my 20 days of radiotherapy and feel so confident.

Reception are Bob, Sarah and Jacqui

The Radiotherapy Team were Lori , Alice, Jenna and trainee Scott

Thank you all, a credit to the NHS.

Dear Happiness is Bliss, thank you so much for taking the time to feedback your experience to date of our Radiotherapy Department. My name is Bob, one of the support workers based at the Reception area you mention. I will pass on your kind words to the other members of the tam and also to the Therapeutic Radiographers who looked after you.

I am glad to hear that your CT scan was successful now and look forward to seeing you during your course of treatment.

Kind regards... Bob
