I developed heart complications earlier this year, 18 years after having had a heart transplant. My consultant in Manchester said it was not life threatening but the local clinic arranged for two nurses to come and visit me about every two weeks. They give me a ring to let me know when they will be coming and are very good at keeping their appointments.
Both nurses are very pleasant, polite and efficient – they are very friendly. They provide a 5 star service; give me a thorough examination each time. The nurse called Ann usually comes with Lucy but sometimes with another nurse.
I find it very comforting and reassuring that although my condition is not life threatening, I have someone to keep an eye on me so regularly.
