About: Older People’s Services / Hospital at Home Northern Sector

(as a service user),

I am in my eighties and had never heard of "The Hospital at home Service for Older people" until my GP informed me.

I have had the good fortune to have had the wonderful, professional and dedicated service of the Home service.

Apart from the specialised service, I am overwhelmed by such an intentional group. Not only did they have and easy manner with me, the patient, but with one another.

They showed an approach which resembled hospital care in the past, thankfulness and good manners from patients and adequate recompense for professional service.

The team is well known to the GPs and they refer on a regular basis. Its great to hear you were able to be treated at home and that the staff showed you full respect and dignity.
