My husband had prostatectomy surgery earlier this month at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow due to having cancer. He had been referred by the Urology Team in Forth Valley. Preceding that he had had great care by the GPs in Doune Health Centre. The whole pathway was excellent/seamless. He is recovering very well and after interactions with Specialist Nurses in Forth Valley feels supported.
I would like to thank all involved for this care and attention. Mr Dutti at QUEH called me when my Husband was in recovery to say the surgery had gone well. So reassuring.
I also need to mention that on the day of admission we had the check in at the admission office on the ground floor. The kindness of the clerical officer in the admission office and the clerical officer at the same day admissions unit really set the scene.
"Great care"
