About: Standish Medical Practice

I had a prostate physical examination with a Doctor on 4/1/23 and a PSA blood test the day after. The Doctor said he would text me with the results but this did not happen. The results were on line on 6/1/23 showing a PSA of 1.6 but I do not know if this is good or bad and I am getting a bit stressed not knowing if I need any further tests or investigation.

I first tried to ring but this was unanswered I then contacted the email address on the site for the practice manager but this came back stating she no longer works for the practice. I then emailed the address given on this reply but this has not been answered. I have since had a reply using an email address (not the one published on the site) and was told that my message has been passed to the Doctor, but I have not yet had a reply from the Doctor. Please note that I am deaf and talking on the phone is a big problem' could you please reply if you feel fit, by email I am trying to avoid avoid having to escalate the issue to the commissioner.
