I had a dizzy turn while cleaning house guttering when my eyesight fragmented and I felt difficulty in breathing coupled with a pounding headache.
I sought help from a neighbour who is a nurse.
After having my BP checked and a quick check, it was agreed that I would speak to my GP who I was due to visit two days later in any case.
I explained what happened to my GP and was sent for further BP & ECG tests as well as having a blood test taken.
After some deliberation, I was referred to ward 101 of ARI.
The staff there were wonderful and checked me over thoroughly before it was decided to admit me to ward 109.
Kim took over my case there and kept me informed about the process I was about to face.
In the event, it was decided the following day that I would have my medication adjusted to help me and I was released as soon as my wife could pick me up.
I found the staff of both wards 101 & 109 e excellent and are a credit to the NHS.
"Excellent Care"
