"Impossible to get an appointment "

About: The New Coningsby Surgery

Used Ask my GP to get an appointment due to excruciating pain in shoulder arm and chest . Offered an appointment in 3 weeks as doctor felt it was musculoskeletal.

Called 999 and taken to hospital given morphine enroute after thorough tests and chest x-ray a chest infection was diagnosed .

Had a 10 minute appointment been offered I feel a could have received treatment in a timely manner .

A&E are severely stretched and I wouldn't use the service had I been offered a consultation with the GP first.

An eight hour wait with 72 other patients probably could have been prevented .

The surgery are also overstretched with a boundary being as far as Horsington which I know to be correct it's not sustainable with only one GP .
