About: St John's Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was admitted to St John's hospital, Livingston, for hysteroscopy and biopsy I can't thank the nurses and the orderlies enough, I found them to very caring and very attentive, I'm sorry that I can't remember the lovely nurse who attended to me when I was admitted to St John's hospital but thank you for your care and attention.

I would also like thank the theatre staff and especially Dr Austin for the care and compassion she has shown through my visits to St John's 

I'm now awaiting an appointment for my hysterectomy operation - I've signed my consent form for the operation to go ahead, I've understood everything as I've been reading a lot about my endrometrium cancer, I've also watched 2 videos so that I know exactly what is taking place. I like facts and I needed to know about the operation itself.

Thank you to all the staff in gynaecology for the care, compassion  and attention it was very much appreciated thank you.

Hi Rosalind365

Thank you for taking the time after your recent procedure to leave feedback on the care you received. I have passed your comments onto the nursing staff and Dr Austin and we are all pleased that your experience with us was a positive one.

I am similar to you and like to research and know facts on things so I'm glad that you have been able to access information which should hopefully make you feel more informed and at ease when you return to us for your hysterectomy.
