Phoned Holmwood on Tuesday 09/01/24 to book a doctors appointment. The receptionist filled in the request form and said a doctor would call me that day. Nobody called. Approching midnight on the following Friday the condition reappeared and worsened and 111 was called. They arranged for an ambulance to be sent immediately and I was transferred to hospital. Spent two days in hospital before release. Took a covid test on the following Monday and this was positive, clearly contracted in hospital.

The service at this health centre has deteriorated quite severly in recent years and their inefficencies are placing a larger strain on the wider NHS.
