"A mix up with my meds"

About: Lower Clapton General Practice

(as the patient),

I have been seeing a cardiologist, thankfully the results were good but I was prescribed the wrong medication by my GP, and luckily I noticed and queried it. I was told to take it back to the chemist and stop all meds, by a Dr at lower Clapton. This resulted in my BP going very high, I am now back on my regular meds thanks to Rani she went above and beyond to reassure me and sort out my meds. I am very grateful to her she is very caring and professional.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I'm very pleased it was all sorted out in the end. It would be really helpful if you could email your experience to lower.claptongp@nhs.net with your personal details so that we can look at your clinical record to see what went wrong. It's important we look at it so that we can prevent mistakes happening in the future.
