"They have encouraged me the whole way through"

About: Neurological Rehabilitation Centre / Inpatient Unit

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had sepsis and then developed pneumonia which led to a bilateral stroke. This was picked up on the ICU ward, where I spent 70 days until I was moved onto the stroke ward. My physio began in Barnet Hospital until they felt that I needed NRC. I have spent 2 months of intensive physio here with a wonderful physio team, that have encouraged me the whole way through.
