My mother spent 6 weeks in Ward 32 of Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The care she received was exceptional.
Her Consultant, Dr Miller, and the rest of medical team were very caring and communication was excellent at all times.
End of life care was delivered with real compassion and professionalism. I felt they really knew my mum and treated her as an individual.
Of particular note for going above and beyond, are Helen (Ward sister) and Peter (staff nurse). Also a lovely student nurse but sadly I cannot recall her name.
As a nurse myself, it was hard being on the other side of things and I was genuinely delighted with the wonderful care she received.
