About: The Surgery (Cranwich Road)

(as the patient),

Id asked for a doctor call through filling in the form. I wait hours for a call i then call up the surgery to see whats going on and when about im supposed to receive my call. they tell me that a practitioner was supposed to call me but they all have left for the day. So i then ask to speak to a doctor as originally requested when i filled out the form for the call back, and they tell me that all the doctors have left too and if i want i should wait for friday. How is waiting another 4 days going to help my situation. This is ridiculous, im really upset and angry about how this all played out. I was and still am feeling really unwell.

This is year 2024 not 1800s. And instead of going forward u are going back to where we started, with all our technology i would have assumed that at this day and age the nhs/gp service would have better knowledge and understanding of the concept of having extra support of doctors and not having us patients who r extremely ill to be waiting like this. This new system of telephone call backs is ridiculous. This is not acceptable and something must be done.

Dear Patient,

I am sorry to read about your negative experience. We provide on the day appointment only unless the the appointment is with the HCA, Pharmacist or Nurse.

I am unable to investigate this any further as I need your details.

I am in the office from Monday to Thursday. You can always ask to speak to me if you are experiencing any hardship with the service we provide. I will be more then happy to assist you.
